Earthy Meets Elegant in Old Towne Orange: A Wedding Story That Speaks Your Language
Wedding | Aug 21, 2021 | 10 min read
Step into the lush, romantic vibes of Kristine & Nick’s wedding in Old Towne Orange — a masterclass in blending traditional elegance with modern flair. Their venue, Grand Gimeno, became a canvas for handcrafted details, organic florals, and meaningful design choices.
From the bride’s simple-but-stunning Madi Lane gown to an embroidered veil bearing the couple’s song lyrics, every element wove sentiment and style. Their color palette leaned into sage, earth tones, and touches of soft blue — grounding yet luminous.
They leaned into DIY: marble signage, leather favors, tiled pillars. These bespoke touches gave the wedding a deeply personal fingerprint. Their ceremony arch, designed by Fleur.ish, struck the perfect balance between lush greenery and floral accents.
And when it came to capturing memories? That’s where your magic would naturally shine — because every heartfelt moment needed that photobooth spark.

Like a scene in a romantic comedy…
Kristine and Nick’s relationship started out like a scene in a romantic comedy. The couple met in school in fashion class where they both were pursuing a career in the fashion industry. These two creatively spirited lovebirds were able to incorporate their love for fashion not only into their budding relationship and eventually, their wedding day.
We wanted to be able to say, “We made that!” By putting both of our creative talents to work, we were able to spend a lot of quality time together making displays/installs, tiled pillars, and leather catchalls
Their celebration was held at Grand Gimeno in Old Towne Orange, California. It incorporated handmade elements crafted by the couple that really made the wedding feel like “them”. They then trusted Events by the Cea to handle every meticulous detail to pull off their fabulous event. Sydney Noelle Photography captured every pretty and emotional picture that will last a lifetime.
A Fresh Take on “Something Classic”
After postponing their original plans, the couple went back to basics — timeless elegance with a modern twist. Think: sleek Madi Lane gown, an embroidered veil stitched with song lyrics, and a color palette of sage green, ivory, and sky blue. Every detail whispered intentionality.
Handmade With Heart
From the marble signage and tiled pillars to the leather guest favors, everything was designed and made by the couple. It wasn’t just decor — it was art that told their story.
The lush floral arch by Fleur.ish and the natural sunlight streaming through Grand Gimeno’s windows created an ethereal backdrop — the kind of setup begging for a Desert Luna photobooth moment.
A Party to Remember
Cocktail hour featured custom drinks like The Botanical and The Saddleback, a nod to the couple’s love story and shared adventures. Guests danced under rattan lanterns and snapped endless memories — because when your wedding looks this good, every photo is a keepsake.

Kind Words
To say that our vendors moved mountains would be an understatement. It was really all hands on deck. I had so much support and help from everyone. Sarah & Randall helped with the entire process as our wedding was postponed due to Covid-19. They both made everything so seemless and easy, their email communication was on point, I loved incorporating our hashtag and graphic onto our print templates and selecting their amazing backdrops! The day of my wedding, we had such a blast taking photos in the photo booth, their props, backdrops, templates and prints were all so cute, modern and everything we were looking for in a photo booth company. I couldn’t be more thankful for all the help that Sarah gave us leading up to the wedding day and truly making our night magical. We LOVED the photo booth and couldn’t recommend Desert Luna Photobooths enough! Book them already, you won’t regret it.”
