Yesterday we teamed up with a bunch of incredible female entrepreneurs in a stunning space and together we made a pretty little pop up party in Palm Springs 🌴
It was a celebration of small woman-owned ethical businesses amidst the corporate capitalist machine Coachella has become...Annddd nobody showed up 😂 (aside from the amazing @afashionnerd here and a few others, thank you 😘🤗) I started to take strategic photos and videos that made the event look a lot more WILD than it really was, but then I realized I was doing exactly what the highlight REAL collection was against. So instead I embraced the situation, chose to have an awesome time with the wonderful people who did show up, and shared the REAL on our stories ❤️
Social media is a FOMO landmine, especially during festival season. As you scroll through your feeds this weekend and see the “festival fun” unfold, remember so much of that content is actually manufactured fun, designed to give you FOMO and sell you things. I know because I have been to Coachella, Neon Carnival, Zoeasis, Revolve festival, and all of the “exclusive” fancy parties. I see the BTS, and the reality is girls arrive at these events, take a photo , hardly talk to anyone, and move onto the next “photo worthy moment”. Even though I know this deep down, no doubt if I see all my friends out there having an “amazing time” I’m going to wish I was there SO BADLY. Today I’m back in LA and staying off of social media to try and spend time living my REAL life, instead of doing it vivaciously through a screen. I’m embracing “JOMO”, the JOY of missing out 😘

SO sweet and really made our event special! Unlike other photo-booths they use a fully equipped DSLR camera and provide all of the edited photos after.
We were able to fully customize a design for the frame and it turned out incredible! They were professional and FUN. Can't recommend enough :)
